The Montenegrin Woman Today: Roads of Emancipation
The Montenegrin Woman Today: Roads of Emancipation project was implemented in five Montenegrin cities, through variety of activities including: the podcast series “You Are Not Alone”, workshops for children and a conference.
Through a series of podcast episodes, various aspects of women’s emancipation in Montenegro were discussed in detail. Our listeners can hear inspiring stories, expert analyses and experiences of women who have been discriminated in their communities or have suffered violence, verbal and physical.
The project also includes interactive psycho-drama workshops in the municipalities of Šavnik, Mojkovac and Andrijevica, to empower young people and organize artistic performances in public spaces that will emphasize the importance of gender equality.
The project organized a conference called Hate Speech: From Violence to Solidarity?, which brought together experts, activists and citizens in an open discussion on the emancipation of our society.
