Mission, vision and goals

Mission

Femme Foundation was founded by a group of talented and successful women of various professions, sensibilities, reflections and characters.

Despite the different interests and spheres of activity, the common denominators of all our members are: creativity, strength, solidarity, proactivity, loyalty to Montenegro and unreserved commitment to its overall progress.

The members of the Foundation are united in the mission that through meaningful and multifaceted projects and activities on the importance of education, culture, science and entrepreneurship, as well as on the necessity of emancipation of Montenegrin society in relation to women’s rights and position, their economic, political and social equality.

Networking with related associations in regional and European frameworks, in order to implement joint actions, initiatives, projects. The much-needed humanitarian aspect of the Foundation’s work should also strengthen the local community, but also to affirm Montenegrin women’s creative and entrepreneurial achievements at the regional and international level.

In addition to pointing out gender bias and inequality, the Foundation is committed to the mission of strengthening the capacity of our institutions, but also to develop awareness of their own national identity.

Goals

In the spirit of modern practices and European standards, one of the focuses of the Foundation’s activities is aimed at creating a favorable climate for the release and expansion of women’s creative potential.

Based on the true postulates of civil, multinational, multi-confessional values of an open secular society, the Femme Foundation acts in accordance with the virtuous achievements inherited by the Montenegrin social being.

Accordingly, in addition to the above, the goals of the Foundation are:

Strengthening freedom of speech and affirming the right to free opinion of all, without exception
Promoting and preserving the cultural heritage of Montenegro and its identity
Education through the production of artistic and cultural content
Project thinking and project action at local and international level
Strengthening the creative industry and STEM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics ’)
Expansion of female creative potential

• Mapping Montenegro as a suitable place for creative expression.

Vision

Based on the principles of transparency, fairness and equality, the Foundation is inspired by the vision of creating a quality environment for the affirmation of knowledge as a virtue and Montenegro as a place where individuality, creativity, ability and education will be valued, regardless of gender, religion or national community.

The strength of the Femme Foundation is based on the vision of creating a better and more humane society as a whole, through a positive impulse of common excellence in many fields of our activities.

Improving and developing our own potentials are our contribution to the creation of a society of equal opportunities which is a long-term vision of our Foundation.
