She received her doctorate from the University of Heidelberg, Germany in the field of high-energy nuclear physics, after which she established a work engagement in the most prestigious institutions in this field in CERN and GSI and was integrated in international teams. She held the position of Minister of Science in the 41st. Government of Montenegro. During her ministerial mandate, she put her international contacts and scientific career into service to accelerate the development of the innovation system in Montenegro.
